Liverpool look to get their Champions League campaign back on track with a trip to Istanbul on Wednesday night. They face Turkish side Besiktas at the BJK İnönü Stadium, kick off 7:45pm.
The Reds go into the game desperately needing a first win after their loss to Marseille and draw in Porto so far.
Fernando Torres should return to the Liverpool side after missing Saturday’s Merseyside Derby victory over Everton through injury and fellow Spaniard Xabi Alonso is also back to fitness and set to return to the starting eleven.
Defender Daniel Agger isn’t expected to return so Sami Hyypia will continue alongside Jamie Carragher in defence.
Fabio Aurelio could be fit, while Harry Kewell is continuing his return from injury.
Jermaine Pennant is set to return to the right wing and Ryan Babel could provide the width down the left.
Besiktas have lost their opening two fixtures in the group - 2-0 at Marseille and 1-0 by Porto.
The Turks’ coach Ertuğrul Sağlam will serve a one match touchline ban after being dismissed in their defeat to Porto in the last round of games.
The match is live on Sky Sports.
