Liverpool forward Fernando Torres admits he is content with Reds' boss Rafa Benitez's controversial rotation policy.
Benitez has come under fire for rotating his top summer signing with Torres starting the recent Premier League games against Portsmouth and Birmingham on the bench.
The decision to rest Torres came under scrutiny after the Reds drew blanks in both games, but the Spanish international insists he is happy to accept Benitez's ideas.
"We players have to adapt to systems, rather than systems being adapted to suit the players," Torres told the Champions magazine.
"The manager will decide who plays depending on what he needs in each game.
"The players who do best are the ones who win a place.
"I'm playing with pressure and responsibility. I'm used to it."
Meanwhile, Benitez is confident Reds skipper Steven Gerrard will not be affected by the car accident he was involved in earlier this week.
Gerrard was left shaken after he involved in a car accident on Monday which left a a young boy with a broken leg.
However, Benitez says the midfield dynamo will be fully focused for Wednesday's UEFA Champions League clash with Marseille.
"I was talking with him this morning and he's fine," said Benitez.
"He was disappointed but he's spoken to the boy and his family and everything is okay.
"He was driving slowly so it is not a problem.
"He is ready to play. This morning he was training normally."
