Benitez cautious over Kewell

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has urged Australian officials to exercise caution with winger Harry Kewell who has made just three substitute appearances since his lengthy injury lay-off ahead of the Socceroos' friendly with Nigeria in London.
Kewell was rested for the 2-0 Premier League win over Fulham at Anfield, but Benitez said he would be discussing Kewell's role against Nigeria with Football Federation Australia.
"Maybe it is good that he will go with the national team but I would like to see the player training with a proper program so we need to talk to the Australian federation to see if we can maintain the progression of the player," Benitez told the Liverpool Echo.
